Mill invites you to participate in the renovation of a historic
flour mill. This transformation will develop the former mill into
an artisan plaza, exclusive view condos, unique office and retail
space and boutique winery with shared commercial opportunities.Our
development team is creating a unique experience for artisans, chefs,
wine and cheese makers, tenants and customers while rejuvenating
this historic mill property in The Dalles Oregon. Part laboratory,
part living room, always entertaining, while embracing the grace
of the past with the strength of its exciting future. A think tank
and testing ground for artists, vintners, chefs and entrepreneurs
to develop and market their goods under one vision.

Tasting Event, Labor Day Weekend
The Sunshine
Mill, will be open for visitations, Saturday and Sunday, September
2nd and 3rd from Noon - 4pm of the Labor Day Weekend. Quenett
Winery, the Gorge's newest winery, will be pouring at two
locations, here at the Sunshine Mill and at their new Tasting
Room in Hood River. At the Sunshine Mill they will be pouring
their new release Redd Red Wine along with the Pinot Gris, Merlot
and new Syrah in this historic location. We will pouring our new
Redd Red Wine, along with the Viognier, Zinfandel and our new
Cabernet Sauvignon at the Hood
River Tasting Room.

Visit the
Sunshine Mill as we move forward! James Martin of The Sunshine
Mill and Quenett Winery gave a presentation Tuesday on March 16
to the Urban Renewal Advisory Board on the status of the Sunshine
Mill Development. James' stated that they plan to break ground
on the first phase which includes a proposed winery in the following
spring of 2007. A special thanks to Chris Zukin and Meadow Outdoor
for renewing the old mill's historic sign.
