Our wine club members are the reason we are able to do what we are doing! Our vision was born of the idea that a community needs a gathering place for the appreciation of craft and the enjoyment of human interaction. We strive to bring this to The Dalles by restoring The Sunshine Mill and establishing a gathering place for festivals, artists and anyone who would like to support their community.

By becoming a wine club member, you benefit from this project, invitations to special events, discounts and the knowledge that you are helping to improve your community! Please come by The Mill and inquire as to how you may become a part of this monumental project.

Sunshine Mill is a fantastic project that has many opportunities to offer! This section is being continually updated so please check back with us as we progress. Here are some of our ideas:

The Wine Plaza, Cooperation, artisan vintners using a cooperative state-of-the-art commercial wine facility

Production and promotion of many wines in one facility and tasting room. Collective knowledge of artisans equals greater quality. Shared access to all facilities and equipment to the community of wine makers.

Urban Based Wineries

Less seasonal in traffic & longer tasting room hours. Anchor for other artists and artisans. Community focal point & a greater diversity in products.
